  • Over the last four-plus seasons, Stevenson is 16-1 in the month of September, as prior to this season, the Mustangs had started 3-0 in each of the last four years.  Stevenson has won 13 in a row in the month, with its last loss before the calendar hitting October coming on September 28, 2013 against Delaware Valley.
  • The Mustangs were fourth nationally in interceptions in 2016 with 26, while the defensive unit ranked 10th in turnover margin (+1.45) and 14th in turnovers gained (30).  Stevenson was also one of 10 teams nationally that did not allow a blocked kick in 2016.

  • Stevenson is 27-8 (.771) since the start of the 2014 season.
  • Junior quarterback Dan Williams has not thrown an interception in the season's first two games, and has attempted 67 straight passes without a pick.  Last season he had a streak of 101 pass attempts without throwing an interception.
  • The Mustangs return their top three tacklers from a season ago in Ashton Leschke (88), Izaiha Pitts (83) and Mike Datu (59).  Cory Pietrzyk, who returns after suffering an injury in last season's third game, was the second-leading tackler in 2015 with 82.
