MEADVILLE, Pa.--Junior Ty McGowan (Moon Township, Pa., Moon) rushed for a pair of touchdowns and completed passes to nine different receivers Saturday night to help Westminster College cruise to a 42-7 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) win at Allegheny College.

Westminster improved to 2-0 this season and now owns a 4-1 record against Allegheny in Meadville dating back to the 2002 season. Saturday was the Titans' first trip to Crawford County since Sept. 12, 2009.

McGowan completed 15-of-21 passes for a career-high 240 yards and ran five times for 26 yards and two scores. His 15-yard touchdown run with under four minutes to go in the first quarter capped a five-play, 77-yard drive and gave the Titans a 14-0 lead. With under nine minutes left in the fourth he put a bow on a nine-play, 80-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown plunge that stretched Westminster's lead to 35-0. Through two games, McGowan is completing 80 percent of his passes (32-40) and owns a 183.38 rating.
