KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College football team lost a high-scoring 47-44 contest on Homecoming to The University of Olivet Saturday afternoon at Angell Field.

Down 6-0 late in the first quarter, Dawson Skupin got things going with back-to-back passes for 14 yards and a first down. Facing a third-and-six on the 36-yard line, Skupin hit Aaron Zekman for a 12-yard gain. Two plays later, the duo hooked up again, this time for a 21-yard touchdown. A Zach Sykes run on the extra point made it 8-6.

Down 26-15 in the third, Conner Bell hauled in a 15-yard strike from Ledin and Hanifan found Ledin for the two-point conversion at the 13:12 mark of the third quarter, making it a field goal game at 26-23.

A 65-yard touchdown pass from the visitors just 22 seconds later, at 2:26, put Olivet in front by three. Kalamazoo had a chance to tie or take the lead, but an interception sealed the game for the visitors.
