Offense

QB J.D. Ricca, Sr., Hampden-Sydney
Ricca showed he was all the way back from a broken wrist that ended his 2004 season, passing for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference-record 494 yards and adding six touchdowns in a 52-7 win against Sewanee. He completed 28 of 36 passes in the contest, including touchdowns of 60, 40 and 32 yards.

OL Dylan Everett, Jr.; Joey Fratto, Sr.; Tadeo Padilla, So.; Ed Wells, Sr.; Nathan Archer, Fr.; McMurry
The line allowed just one sack in 31 pass attempts and exceeded last year’s rushing average by almost 50 yards in a 40-30 win against Menlo.

RB Mark Robinson, Jr., St. John Fisher
Robinson ran for three touchdowns and 127 yards on 21 carries and had three catches for 33 yards and another score in a 42-7 win at King’s.

RB Marcus Washington, Sr., Bridgewater (Va.)
Washington scored four touchdowns and finished with 304 all-purpose yards in a 36-35 loss to McDaniel. Washington had 14 carries for 132 yards, including touchdowns of 31 and 41 yards, added five receptions for 51 yards and returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown.

WR Brian Rolander, Sr., Hampden-Sydney
Rolander had a career day against Sewanee as the recipient of three of J.D. Ricca's six TD tosses. Rolander's six receptions on the day went for 209 yards, while his TDs went for 60, 40 and 32 yards.

WR Pito Gonzalez, Jr., Western Connecticut
Gonzalez caught nine passes for 155 yards and a touchdown in the Colonials’ 37-13 win against St. Peter’s. He finished with 176 all-purpose yards.

TE Mike Elias, Jr., Bethany
Elias caught a 67-yard touchdown pass that gave the Bison the lead for good in a 35-14 upset win against Franklin and Marshall. He finished with two catches for 81 yards and also averaged 41.7 yards on seven punts.

Defense

DL Jason Trusnik, Sr., Ohio Northern
The All-American turned in another dominating performance, leading a defense that allowed only 149 yards of total offense in a 48-3 win at Westminster (Pa.). He had 11 tackles (six solo), six and a half for loss and two and a half sacks in the victory.

DL Anthony Silver, Jr., Delaware Valley
Silver had 11 tackles, five solo, in a 31-22 win against Moravian. Silver helped the Aggies hold Chris Jacoubs to 80 yards on 23 carries.

DL Cisco Clervoix, Sr., Ohio Wesleyan
He had seven tackles, two for loss and a sack which pinned Franklin on its 4-yard line, setting up a Battling Bishop scoring drive.

LB Joel Goldstone, So., Millikin
Goldstone had a team-high nine tackles, eight solo, in Millikin’s upset of Wartburg. He had a tackle for loss and an interception as well.

LB Chad Adams, Fr., Wilmington
Adams led the team with 10 tackles (four solo) while scoring the first touchdown of the season with a 43-yard interception return. Helped lead the defense that picked up two safeties and held Mt. St. Joseph to a Wilmington-record minus-21 yards rushing.

LB Dan McCall, Sr., Muhlenberg
McCall recorded eight tackles, six solo, in Muhlenberg's 30-13 win at The College of New Jersey on Friday night. He forced two fumbles and had three and a half tackles for loss, including three sacks. TCNJ did not record a first down in the second half.

LB Mark Halley, Sr., Concordia-Moorhead
Halley recorded 10 tackles, one for lorss and returned an interception 67 yards. The Cobbers held Division II Moorhead State to 91 yards rushing and four second-half first downs

DB Andrew Terlecky, Jr., Denison
In his first career start at cornerback, Terlecky intercepted three Waynesburg passes and returned the game-winner 31 yards for a TD helping Denison rally from a 17-0 deficit in the second half to upset Waynesburg 21-17.

DB Gary Gerba, Jr., Bethany
Gerba's crushing blindside sack forced a fumble on F&M's first drive of the second half. Bethany recovered and scored on the next play to extend lead to 28-15. He also picked off a pass in third quarter to snuff out F&M drive in Bethany territory and returned it 39 yards. He finished with four tackles, three passes broken up and a sack.

DB Jared Flesch, Sr., UW-Stevens Point
Flesch had 12 tackles (10 solo) and intercepted a Hardin-Simmons pass in the end zone in a 38-12 loss to the No. 4 Cowboys.

DB Andy Howell, Sr., William Paterson
Howell broke up the potential game-winning touchdown pass on the game's final play as William Paterson beat Wilkes, 21-17, to win its first season opener since 2001. The strong safety paced the Pioneers with 10 tackles and broke up three passes.

Special teams

K Jim Spencer, Jr., Adrian
Spencer converted on field goals of 33 and 40 yards and was 5-for-5 in extra-point attempts in a 61-14 win against Heidelberg.

P Adam Brossman, So., Lebanon Valley
Brossman punted five times for 219 yards (43.8-yard average), with a long kick of 52 yards and one inside the 20, in Lebanon Valley's 34-27 loss to Gettysburg. He also caught four passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns.

RET Wes Hostetler, Sr., Ohio Northern
Hostetler returned punts 83 and 79 yards for touchdowns in the 48-3 win against Westminster (Pa.).
