Offense

QB Paul Keeley, Sr., Alfred
Keeley completed all 10 of his first half passes for 157 yards and a touchdown as Alfred jumped to a 21-0 halftime lead over nationally ranked Springfield. He finished the day 15-of-18 passing for 212 yards and two scores in a 37-7 win.

OL Nathan Hackney, Asmun Washington, Sean McNeil, Kyle Kuhn, Brandon Craig, North Carolina Wesleyan
The Bishops’ offensive line paved the way for 591 yards of total offense in a 50-10 win over Methodist. NCWC averaged 6.6 yards per carry on 37 attempts, while three quarterbacks combined to complete 65% of their passes.

RB Josh Simpson, Jr., Hampden-Sydney
Simpson set a conference record with six rushing touchdowns in a 56-49 defeat of Guilford. He ran the ball 36 times for 207 yards, adding seven receptions for 86 yards and another score through the air.

RB Corey George, Fr., East Texas Baptist
George set a conference record with five rushing touchdowns in a 41-28 road win against Sul Ross State. He recorded 151 rushing yards on 24 carries.

WR Hagen Miller, So., Guilford
Miller caught 14 passes – third most in school history – for 199 yards and three scores in a 56-49 loss to Hampden-Sydney.

WR George Eager, So., Franklin and Marshall
In a 27-12 win against Juniata, Eager hauled in 11 catches for 137 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 48 punt return yards and 38 kickoff return yards for a total of 223 all-purpose yards.

TE Mike DiMeglio, Sr., Western Connecticut
DiMeglio led all WCSU receivers with seven catches and 90 yards against Iona. He also completed an underhanded throw that resulted in two points after a bad snap on an extra-point attempt.

Defense

DL Casey Younger, Sr., Millsaps
Younger tallied nine tackles (five solo), four tackles for a loss, and three sacks as the Millsaps defense held Rhodes to just 146 total yards in a 42-0 win.

DL Justin Kaderabek, Fr., Chicago 
In only his second career start, Kaderabek recorded 5.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks in a 21-13 win over Macalester.

DL D.J. DeWitt, Jr., Waynesburg
DeWitt sacked the Grove City quarterback five times for a loss of 32 yards in a 27-23 win. The Waynesburg defense held Grove City to only 11 total yards on their last six possessions, including negative 16 on their last three.

DL Dan Mulholland, Fr., Washington U.
Trailing 13-9 in the fourth quarter at North Central, Mulholland intercepted the Cardinals quarterback to set up the game-winning score. He also had two tackles, one sack, and a fumble recovery.

LB John Scardullo, Sr., Elmhurst
Scardullo recorded four tackles (three solo) and two interceptions in a 42-14 win over Olivet. He returned one of the picks 96 yards for a touchdown.

LB Craig Lawrence, Jr., Allegheny
Lawrence had a hand in three separate turnovers, recovering two fumbles and causing another. He also had seven tackles (four solo) and two sacks in a 24-21 victory over Carnegie Mellon.

LB Adam Hay, Jr., Centre
Hay posted 25 tackles (12 solo), two tackles for a loss, and a fumble recovery, in a 21-14 win over Austin.

LB Gaby Fernandez, Sr., Chicago
Fernandez intercepted three passes, all in the second half, as Chicago defeated Macalester 21-13. His first of two fourth quarter picks stopped the Scots inside the Maroons’ red zone. Fernandez added seven tackles (three solo), an assisted sack, and a forced fumble on the day.

DB Dustin Locke, Jr., Maryville (Tenn.)
Locke, the USA South Athletic Conference defensive player of the week, had five solo tackles and two interceptions in a 24-7 win over Greensboro.

DB John Hoke, Sr., Western Connecticut
With just over two minutes to go in the game, Hoke intercepted a pass and returned it 49 yards. On the last play of the game, he batted down a pass in the end zone to preserve the 41-37 win against previously unbeaten I-AA non-scholarship Iona. Hoke also had four tackles (one solo) and another interception.

DB Devon James, So., Mississippi College
James, who didn’t start, recorded six pass breakups in a 47-14 win over McMurry. The Choctaw defense forced McMurry into 32 incomplete passes and three interceptions on the day.

Special teams

RET Jeff Bliss, So., Montclair State
Bliss returned three kicks for 142 yards and one touchdown in a 27-26 win over then No. 7 ranked Wesley. His 89-yard touchdown return to open the second half turned a 24-19 deficit into a 27-24 lead.

P Kurtis Brondyke, Fr., Central
For the second week in a row, Brondyke was huge in a close win – this time a 17-14 victory over Loras. He landed three of his seven punts inside the 5-yard line, including two fourth-quarter punts downed at the 1-yard line. Brondyke was named Iowa Conference player of the week.

K Nate Palkovic, Sr., Monmouth
One week after setting the Monmouth career scoring record, Palkovic was the hero in a 6-3 win over Carroll. He gave his team a 3-0 lead on a 36-yard kick in the second quarter, followed by the game-winner from 25 yards out with 4:28 left in the game.
