Offense

QB Chris Hawkins, Sr., Buena Vista
Hawkins was 18-for-27 passing for 285 yards and six touchdowns in Buena Vista's 42-7 win over Cornell.

OL Mike Strelow, Trevor Wirth, Mark Leupold, Mitch Winn, Alan Olmsted, Ripon
Ripon rushed for a school record 528 yards on 73 rushing attempts in a 56-9 win on the road against Beloit.

RB Chris Blanton, So., Mississippi College
Blanton carried the ball 27 times for 168 yards and five touchdowns in a 42-34 win at Louisiana College. He was named the ASC co-offensive player of the week.

RB Zak Thornton, So., Randolph-Macon
Thornton rushed for 180 yards on 35 carries, and all three Yellow Jacket touchdowns, in a 21-10 win over Carnegie Mellon. On R-MC's game-sealing drive, the ODAC offensive player of the week ran 12 times for 52 yards and capped it off with a 1-yard score.

WR Luke Dillon, Sr., Defiance
Dillon hauled in 11 catches for 151 yards and four touchdowns, including the eventual game winner in a 33-31 win over Rose-Hulman.

WR/RB Lindy Crea, Sr., Hartwick
Crea had 12 receptions for 238 yards and three scores in a 46-36 loss to Alfred. He scored on a 96-yard touchdown catch for the first points of the game. Crea also rushed nine times for 44 yards.

WR Josh Smith, Sr., Central
Smith recorded nine catches for 177 yards and two touchdowns in Central's 28-21 win against Simpson. His scores were from 44 and 26 yards out.

Defense

DL Desmond Hendricks, Jr., Rhodes
Hendricks led a Rhodes defense that limited then 12th-ranked Trinity to 13 points and only 47 yards rushing in Saturday's 27-13 upset victory. He finished the game with eight tackles (four solo), 3.0 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries (including the one he returned 65 yards for a touchdown), two forced fumbles, and one pass deflection.

DL Tyler Doane, Fr., DePauw
Doane had eight tackles (four solo) and 3.5 sacks for a loss of 18 yards in DePauw's 28-24 win over Birmingham-Southern.

DL Clinton Strother, Jr., Concordia-Moorhead
Strother totalled seven tackles (six solo), 4.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, and two quarterback hurries in a 34-14 win over Hamline.

LB Kyle Chewning, So., Maryville (Tenn.)
Chewning made two tackles on a goal line stand in overtime to prevent Ferrum from scoring from the one-yard line. He finished the day with 15 tackles (eight solo) and one tackle of a loss.

LB Chris Gustafson, Sr., Cornell
Gustafson recorded 18 tackles (13 solo) and 5.5 tackles for a loss, as Cornell held Buena Vista to 2.6 yards a carry on 41 attempts.

LB Eric Henri, Jr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Henri led the Cru defense with 11 tackles (three solo) and two tackles for a loss, as UMHB held Hardin-Simmons to just 22 yards of total offense in the second half. He also recorded a safety, and tipped a pass that was intercepted by a teammate.

LB Trey Simmerman, Sr., Wooster
Simmerman had 14 tackles (eight solo), one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in
Wooster's first win over the season, 13-9 over Ohio Wesleyan.

DB Matt Finke, Jr., Austin
Finke recorded 10 tackles (eight solo) and one tackle for a loss. He also picked off a pass, forced and recovered a fumble, and blocked both a field goal and an extra point in a 16-13 win over Sewanee.

DB Garrett Adamson, Jr., Augsburg
Adamson led the Auggies with 17 tackles (nine solo), 0.5 tackle for a loss, and the game-clinching interception at the Augsburg one-yard line with 50 seconds to go, in a 14-13 win at then 10th-ranked Wartburg.

DB Chase Palmer, Sr., Oberlin
Palmer intercepted a pass with 47 seconds left to stop Denison's final drive, en route to a 34-27 win. He posted a team high eight tackles (five solo), 3.5 tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks.

DB Alex Hill, So., Olivet
Hill's interception in the closing seconds sealed the Comets' 14-13 win against Adrian. He also had seven tackles (six solo) and three pass breakups.

Special teams

K Taylor Russolino, Fr., Millsaps
Russolino hit three first-half field goals from 34, 35, and 38 yards out. The Majors came into the game having hit just one of their eight field goal attempts.

P A.J. Roque, Sr., Kean
Roque unleashed two punts of more than 70 yards in Kean's 35-14 loss to Cortland State. He averaged 44.2 yards on eight punts, including a 29-yard punt from the Cortland 35.

RET Jarred Burrell, Springfield
Burrell had 235 return yards on six touches in Springfield's 42-28 win over Husson. He had 142 yards on three kickoff returns, 50 yards on an interception return, and 43 yards on two punt returns. Burrell returned a second quarter kickoff 84 yards before being tackled at the 2-yard line. The Pride scored on the next play.
